Assessment and evaluation has provided developed societies with needed infrastructures to enhance the efficiency of their respective system and have always been of paramount importance. This is even more important in higher education since higher education as a leading system which also issues different guidelines is able to provide needed infrastructures to develop and affect social and cultural fields as well as other areas. Therefore, one of the most important tools that can assist decision makers, policy makers and higher education curriculum planners to reform current methods so as to enhance productivity and achieve defined goals is having thorough information on weaknesses and strength as well as higher education plans that have been accomplished so far. In order to achieve all the defined goals of article 1 of the bylaw on forming and running higher education assessment and evaluation committee approved on 1386/2/22, Assessment and Evaluation Office is established as the secretariat of the Assessment and Evaluation Committee in each and every university.
